Privacy Policy
REAL PROPERTY PH (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a Philippine real estate brokerage and property-information website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website, inquire about a property, request financing assistance, submit a listing, register an account, or otherwise communicate with us. It is intended to comply with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its implementing rules, and applicable National Privacy Commission issuances.
1. Personal information controller and contact
For inquiries about this policy or the handling of your personal information, contact REAL PROPERTY PH at inquire@realpropertyph.co. Requests involving privacy rights can be sent to the same address with the subject “Privacy Request.” A designated privacy representative may request reasonable identity verification before disclosing or changing account information.
2. Information collected
Depending on the service you request, we may collect your name, email, contact number, preferred location and budget, property interests, financing preferences, viewing schedule, account authentication information, and messages or documents you choose to submit. We also process property reference codes, inquiry history, saved listings, follow-up status, and consent records. Technical records may include IP address, device and browser information, security logs, and website usage data where enabled. Please do not submit government IDs, full title documents, financial statements, or other sensitive records through general inquiry forms unless specifically requested using an appropriate secure channel.
3. Purposes and lawful basis
We process data to answer inquiries, verify requested listing information, coordinate brokerage or referral services, arrange property viewings, evaluate requests for loan assistance, manage accounts, maintain a client relationship management system, respond to complaints, protect our systems, comply with lawful obligations, and keep appropriate transaction records. Processing may rely on your consent, steps requested before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations, or a legitimate interest where permitted and appropriately assessed under Philippine law.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically enroll you in advertising. Where our forms offer a separate optional marketing checkbox, checking it allows REAL PROPERTY PH to send property updates, newsletters, and marketing communications to your supplied email. You may decline without affecting your inquiry and may withdraw marketing consent by contacting us or using an unsubscribe link where available. If processing is justified under another lawful basis, we will disclose that basis and respect applicable objection rights.
4. Sharing and service providers
Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers performing necessary functions such as database hosting, website hosting, email delivery, security monitoring, and client communications. Where relevant to your specific request and subject to the appropriate legal basis and safeguards, information may be shared with property sellers or their authorized representatives, financing institutions you select, and appropriate professionals involved in an authorized transaction. We do not sell customer contact lists to advertisers. Cross-border processing may occur through contracted technology services subject to appropriate contractual and security controls.
5. Accounts, analytics, and security
Authentication cookies are used to maintain signed-in sessions. Security logs help prevent unauthorized access and abuse. Analytics and nonessential tracking, if enabled, must be disclosed and managed in accordance with applicable requirements. Safeguards include access controls, encrypted connections, server-side validation, restricted administrative permissions, and appropriate logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security; suspected incidents will be assessed and addressed under applicable law.
6. Retention and disposal
We keep personal information only while necessary for the stated purposes, legitimate documentation needs, legal retention obligations, dispute handling, or security investigations. Inquiry and transactional records may be retained for the applicable statutory or defensible business period and then deleted, anonymized, or securely archived under an internal retention schedule. The final operational retention schedule must be established and documented by REAL PROPERTY PH before launch.
7. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, request blocking, erasure, or destruction when warranted, and exercise rights concerning data portability, damages, or complaint mechanisms. We may require identity verification, and some requests may be limited by applicable legal obligations. You may also contact the National Privacy Commission.
8. Third-party services and links
External banks, developers, WhatsApp, and other sites operate under their own privacy notices. REAL PROPERTY PH is not responsible for their independent processing practices. Do not assume that communication on a third-party platform is private from that platform.
9. Changes and questions
We may update this policy to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, or processing practices. Material changes will be disclosed when appropriate. For questions, assistance, requests to unsubscribe, or data-subject inquiries, contact inquire@realpropertyph.co.
Operational note: This policy requires final review against the company’s actual service-provider contracts, retention schedules, data-protection measures, and appointed privacy representative before production publication.
